We pushed the envelope of tube design and machining to create a bike that absolutely floats through singletrack. Careful attention to pivot placement and leverage curves make the Bandit feel like a longer travel bike on the way down, but an XC race bike going up. We set out to create a trail bike that combined great uphill efficiency with a playful and aggressive spirit on the descent. The Bandit includes a custom tuned shock that's matched perfectly to the leverage curve for a bottomless feel, great small bump sensitivity and efficient pedalling. For 2012 we have increased frame stiffness with new 12mm x 142mm dropouts. But don’t worry, if you still have a 135mm wheelset that you can't convert we have optional 10mm x 135mm dropouts as well. The Bandit also includes adjustable seatpost cable routing and ISCG tabs to keep your options open. Full bike is available, SRAM X0 Build details and SRAM X7 Build details. |
